Jaguar pickups and their claw's orientation, an ongoing mystery

I'm as always a bit late to the party, but here is a nice video I found about the different bridges available these days…

Oh my… finally a vintage specced Dakota Red (or Lake Placid Blue or 2Tone Sunburst) Jazzmaster with matching headstock (not on the sunburst) with  block inlays and binding! Okay, it is modelled after a CBS-era one, but, raaaaw, to me, this is one of the beautifullest styles among the off-set family… big drool time.

Only recently I discovered the videos and the web site of Adrian Woodward, anyonecanplayguitar.co.uk, and two things stood out for me immediately: A great collection of songs that are not your usual tutorial material, and that beautiful '65 RI Jazzmaster he is playing in many of the videos.

Premier Guitar Magazine just published a thorough set up guide by Michael Adams, and they asked me if they could use my tremolo set up illustrations in that piece. Why yes, of course!

Vanessa and Mike took the newest Fender Offset offerings for a test ride, and now I want to have a grey Jazzmaster with maple neck.

As always, I'm late to the show, and just now found this interview in Guitarworld from 1993 where J and Kevin talk about their guitars, tunings and music. Great read. :)

Tomorrow the new issue of the German music mag "Gitarre & Bass" will be on sale.

Years ago I received a CD-R with scans from an original 1965 Jaguar owners manual, scanned and sent to me by Craig G. Neeley, owner of the '65 Jaguar.

Whew... all Jazzmaster and Jaguar pictures were imported successfully to the new gallery.

Ride the new code-pony... :-) I hereby declare the new version of this webiste online!
